Our 20 meter nets are a new addition to the ARID club's activities, providing an expanded platform for members to connect, share updates, and discuss amateur radio topics. These nets follow a structured format that includes check-ins, announcements, a treasurer’s report, comments, and votes on club matters.

Frequency and Location: We conduct our 20 meter nets on the frequency of 14.240 MHz. These nets are held over-the-air, enabling members to participate from their own radio setups.

Time: The nets take place every Wednesday at 00:00 UTC (falls on Tuesdays eastern). This consistent schedule ensures that all members, regardless of their location, have a regular opportunity to engage with the club and stay informed about the latest developments and activities.

For Members Abroad: This net is particularly beneficial for members residing in other states or countries, providing them with a consistent way to stay connected with the club.

Technician Level Members: Technician-level members, although they cannot transmit on this frequency, have the option to listen in and still participate in voting and suggestions. You can cast your votes at arid.club/vote and make suggestions at arid.club/suggest.

Voting: During these nets, we also vote on various club-related matters, allowing members to have a direct impact on club decisions and activities. Your participation is crucial in helping shape the future of our club.

2 METER NETS (145.180 -600 77PL IN/OUT) SUNDAY @ 20:00 EASTERN

Our 2 meter nets are a key part of the ARID club's activities, offering a platform for members to connect, share updates, and discuss amateur radio topics. These nets are structured to include check-ins, announcements, a treasurer’s report, comments, and votes on club matters.

Frequency and Location: We conduct our 2 meter nets on the frequency of 145.180 MHz with a 600 kHz offset (negative) and a 77 Hz PL tone for both input and output. These nets are held over-the-air, allowing members to participate from their own radio setups.

Time: The nets take place every Sunday at 20:00 Eastern Time. This consistent schedule ensures that all members have a regular opportunity to engage with the club and stay informed about the latest developments and activities.
